we at ssc have been asking stores at random across multiple states and heres the results 

as long as it covers your nose and mouth it dont really matter be it a face shield, a face mask, bandanna or even a thin scarf just as long as it covers most stores dont seem to care what its made of however its most preferable to use a facemask if possible but any covering would probably work even a thin towel so remember you do have options 

and if your afraid that your covering wont work please call the store in advance and get the managers name whom you talk too so that if theres an issue you can say i talked to person x (example mike) at time z  (12:05 pm)  and they said this scarf or towel or bandanna would be fine and you say its not well please go talk to mike and tell him that (Jason) called him and asked earlier around 12:05 pm this way they have time frame and whom you talked with so that they know what's up and you were misinformed ask if they have a disposable mask to use while in the store and ask that next time they make it more clear to others what is acceptable and what's not but keep your tone and attitude pleasant so you seem civil so they know its constructive feedback and not just someone being a troll or bad person

a vaccine has been made,  please get yours as soon as possible if needed

well theres several factors at play here so its impossible to give an exact time frame, however based on where the epicenter of the pandemic started about 6 to 8 months from the time it arrived here in the usa so that means sometime between August and October to be back to full normal . it has taken china about 6 months to start to return to normal and about 5 months in south Korea so if its taken that long in those locations at least 6 months here however some places may remain cautions for a month or two afterword's so we estimate 7 months here at our station 

of course if a vaccine is discovered in a couple of months and can be given to everyone then possibly a much shorter time maybe just a couple of months

1- i had SARS or MERS in the past do i need this vaccine?

A- most likely yes but since you have had similar viruses in the past you should talk to a doctor to learn more 

2- i have a child under 2 should they get the vaccine?

A- talk to your doctor but the general answer is no at least for now anyway
